Bamboo fabric seems like the new “rage” at the moment, some may call it “trending.” However, for us mums with eczema kids, Bamboo fabric is a godsend. It’s been around now for a few years. We have used this for our boys for its eczema friendly properties.

Here are some facts of the benefits of bamboo:

Thermal Regulating- bamboo is a thermal-regulating textile, which is incredibly important, especially in newborns who naturally have difficulty keeping a consistent and comfortable body temperature. With the ability to keep your baby cool in the summer and warm in the winter. Bamboo is extremely breathable.

Highly Absorbent- Moisture -wicking keeps you dry. Bamboo is 300% more absorbent than cotton. Anti-bacterial/fungal properties- because bamboo possesses an anti-bacteria and bacteriostatic bio-agent called “bamboo kun” -allowing it to naturally flourish and grow in the wild without the use of pesticides or fertilizers. This beneficial quality of the plant remains in its textile form. Making it more hygienic and odour-free for longer.

Ultra-soft- Bamboo is luxuriously soft and silky, and the more you wash it the softer it gets. You have to feel it to believe it.
